Hi! If you have read to here, it is because you want to know who is behind Connecting Translations and its network of professional translators, so let me introduce myself in this section.
I’m Tatiana Peregrín Yáñez, the company’s CEO, project manager and professional translator. I have a Degree in Translation and Interpreting Studies and a Master’s Degree in Audiovisual Translation. I’m a Sworn Translator and Interpreter of English appointed by the Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation.
Since I was a child I got excited about languages and traveling, knowing new cultures and learning from them. That’s why I chose studying Translation and, after some years working as a project manager for other translation agencies, I decided to embark on this adventure and create my own translation agency.
Connecting Translations is a translation agency made up of professional freelance translators and managed by myself. As a translator, I’m responsible for translations of scripts, subtitles and legal texts from English into Spanish, in addition to sworn English translations. As a project manager, I resolve any doubts, prepare customised quotes and assign projects to the appropriate translator.
I collaborate with native translators who translate into their mother tongues, English and French. They are specialised in different fields and always deliver high quality work, they have many years’ experience in the sector and are qualified in the translation process.
The great advantage of relying on Connecting Translations is that I manage everything from beginning to end, from the first email you send, through the assessment of your needs and the choice of the appropriate translator for your project, until the final review of the work, its delivery and the implementation of the changes you consider necessary.
