About the human translators of Connecting Translations

Hi! If you have read to here, it is because you want to know who is behind Connecting Translations and its network of professional translators, so let us introduce ourself in this section.

I’m Tatiana Peregrín Yáñez, the company’s CEO, project manager and professional translator. I have a Degree in Translation and Interpreting Studies and a Master’s Degree in Audiovisual Translation. I’m a Sworn Translator and Interpreter of English appointed by the Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation.

Since I was a child I got excited about languages and traveling, knowing new cultures and learning from them. That’s why I chose studying Translation and, after some years working as a project manager for other translation agencies, I decided to embark on this adventure and create my own translation agency.

Connecting Translations is a translation agency made up of professional freelance translators and managed by my colleague, Raquel, and myself. As a translator, I’m responsible for translations of scripts, subtitles and legal texts from English into Spanish, in addition to sworn English translations. As a project manager, I resolve any doubts, prepare customised quotes and assign projects to the appropriate translator.

I'm Raquel Ruiz Muñoz, CEO of Connecting Translations, project manager and professional translator. I have a Degree in Translation and Interpreting Studies by the University of Granada, I'm a Sworn Translator and Interpreter of English appointed by the Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation, and nowadays I'm studying the Bachelor's Degree in Law in the UNED.

I have always liked the languages, so after studying the Degree in Translation and working some years as a hotel recepcionist, I joined this fantastic project of managing Connecting Translations with my colleague Tatiana.

At Connecting Translations, I'm responsible for translations of legal texts from English and French and for sworn English translations as well as for managing the projects.

I am María Díez Soria, a new member of the Connecting Translations team, project manager and translator. I graduated in Translation and Interpreting at the University of Alicante, did a Master's Degree in Legal Translation EN-ES (own degree) at the UDIMA and currently I translate all kinds of legal documents as well as manage projects within the agency.

It wasn't until high school that my interest in languages and English blossomed. I was fascinated by learning new things about English and American culture. When it was time to go to university, I had no doubt that a degree in translation would open up a world of possibilities. I also had the opportunity to study the third year in Ireland. It was an incredible experience that made me grow academically and personally.

We collaborate with native translators who translate into their mother tongues. They are specialised in different fields and always deliver high quality work, they have many years’ experience in the sector and are qualified in the translation process.

The great advantage of relying on Connecting Translations is that we manage everything from beginning to end, from the first email you send, through the assessment of your needs and the choice of the appropriate translator for your project, until the final review of the work, its delivery and the implementation of the changes you consider necessary. We’ll be glad to hear your opinion. You can rest assured, you are in good hands.
